The route a Kakobuy order actually takes
An order has a geography. It starts at a storefront, moves a short distance to a warehouse, sits there while you decide, then crosses a border and arrives at you. Kakobuy shows each of those legs in your account. This page maps the same route, names the nine stages, and marks the three points where a decision is genuinely yours rather than the platform's.
← Back to overviewFour legs, three decisions
Buy, verify, hold, dispatch. Only the middle two are real decisions: verifying is when you can still object for free, and holding is when consolidation saves money.

Timings below are Kakobuy's published figures. Your order page governs your order.
Placing the order
Four moves take a shortlist entry to a paid Kakobuy order.
Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD links are accepted, or search by name.
Size, colour and quantity are fixed at submission.
Storefront price and domestic hop; freight comes at submission.
Track it domestically, then the warehouse scan, then the photo set.

What the warehouse does
Goods arrive at the warehouse roughly two days after the shop sends them, and inspection and shelving take about a day more. Storage after that is free until you decide to consolidate.
Matched to your account before the seal is broken.
Posted to your account before anything is packed.
The window that makes consolidation possible.
Contents and timing are your call.
Dispatch, and what it costs
Three moves take goods from the shelf to a carrier.
- 1. Select contents
What ships now, what stays for later.
- 2. Select the line
Price, transit time and accepted cargo.
- 3. Declare and pay
Declared value is your call; billing uses chargeable weight.
- 4. Track
A carrier scan appears roughly a day after submission.
After submission the parcel is packed, released to the carrier, and a tracking number appears on your parcel page. Freight is calculated on measured weight, line and destination, so a small adjustment to the estimate is normal and settles against your balance.
