Kakobuy costs, mapped end to end
Think of a Kakobuy order as a route with five tolls. The seller's price is the first, the domestic hop the second, international freight the third and by far the largest, Kakobuy's service fee the fourth, and customs the fifth — the one with no fixed tariff. This page maps all five, marks the point where warehouse photographs give you a chance to turn back, and ends with a calculator you can drive with your own numbers.
← Back to overviewFive tolls, one route
Goods, domestic hop, freight, service fee, duty. Rates are deliberately absent: weight, line and destination move them too much for a static table to be honest about.
- Goodswhat the storefront charged, in CNY
- Domestic hopstorefront to Kakobuy's warehouse, a small flat amount
- Freightthe largest variable, priced on chargeable weight after packing
- Dutyset by your border, outside Kakobuy's control and ours
Kakobuy's fees, storage terms and coverage change over time. Its published pages govern.
Where a map gets verified
Warehouse photographs arrive before dispatch, and they are the last cheap moment to change course. Read them for colour against the listing, obvious faults, the printed size tag, stitch work, and whether the variant shipped is the one you mapped.
- · Colour, checked against the listing photograph
- · Visible faults — scuffs, pulls, marks, faulty fasteners
- · The size tag, which you can compare with your own measurements
- · Stitch and seam quality at the points that fail first
- · That the correct variant and colourway shipped
- · Unit count, when you ordered more than one
- · How the fabric feels, drapes and weighs in the hand
- · Smell — the gap between a photo and what arrives
- · Whether moving parts survive months of wear
- · Colour away from warehouse lighting
- · Fit, which depends on measurements rather than labels
What images resolve, and what only arrival resolves — left and right.
- Verify before the route continues.Once dispatched, a return costs freight in both directions.
- Request another angle when the first is unclear.Reasonable to ask, and free.
- Save what you approved. An approved photograph is the reference if the parcel disagrees later.
- Read the tag, then trust your tape measure.Sizing conventions vary by storefront and by seller.
Picking the line that carries it
Line selection follows inspection, because the parcel does not exist until then. Kakobuy's lines differ on price, transit time and accepted goods, and cost tracks weight and volume far more tightly than item count.
Actual or volumetric, whichever is greater. Compress the parcel.
Several storefronts, one warehouse, one parcel — that is the point.
Batteries, liquids, aerosols and branded goods each get their own answer.
Customs holds sit outside Kakobuy's quoted windows.
Inexplicable to skip on a consolidated parcel.
Not at submission — the two are usually a day apart.

Rates are unprinted on purpose — your item, line and country decide them. Use Kakobuy's estimator for live figures and Kakobuy's pages as final.
Fees, line by line
Drive it with your own numbers
Enter seller price, domestic hop, packed weight, international rate, Kakobuy's service fee and the exchange rate. Rows recompute as you type, with nothing folded in quietly.
A planning figure. Chargeable weight, destination, customs treatment and carrier pricing all move the real amount, and Kakobuy's estimator may quote differently at checkout.
Returns, refunds and Kakobuy's prohibited list
Kakobuy publishes after-sales terms and a prohibited-goods list. Check the clause covering your category before paying, because restricted goods cannot leave the warehouse.
